Over the Presidents Day weekend of 2007 I flew from Chicago to Savannah, Georgia to visit friends. Kristin goes to school at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and our friends Harold and Lisa live in Tallahassee, Florida. They came up to Savannah for the weekend as well. We did lots of walking around and spending time in Savannah's historic district. There are great shops and gorgeous old homes and buildings. On Saturday we drove out to Tybee Island for the ocean scenery and seafood. Along the way we stopped at Ft. Pulaski, which saw action in the Civil War.
