Italy
March 22 - 30, 2008

For spring break 2008, Norm, Pat, and Jeff decided to visit Italy. For the last few years we have been exploring Europe. On our previous trips together we traveled to Germany in 2006 and France in 2005. (Last year we went to Texas.)

After much research, we picked an itinerary that included mostly northern Italy. We spent about a day and half in Rome, just to get a feel for one of the world's most famous cities. Much of our time was spent in Tuscany and Umbria. We were happy also to have two nights on the water
our first night in Riomaggiore (one of the five cities of the Cinque Terre) and our last night in Stresa, on the shore of Lago (Lake) Maggiore.

There are one hundred fifty pictures from our trip on this website. Here are two ways to view them:

1. Scroll down and explore the pictures day by day, with written descriptions.

2. Go to flickr.com and view these same pictures as a slideshow.
