 Pat on a camel, in Jerusalem, I am pretty sure. Notice Don Cleven off to the left. I think it is great thinking about what Pat has done since our trip. First he became the Global program leader and then did a spectacular job during his tenure as director of the international studies program. St. Olaf excelled in this area, under his leadership. And it all started with us! |

 While we were in Jerusalem, the Mosque of the Dome of the Rock was being refurbished. King Hussein of Jordan, now deceased, was paying to have the dome repaired. Here is a picture of the Mosque as it is today. |
