Jerstad Sarah writes (4/11/05): I finished my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of MN last summer after completing my internship in Denver. I worked at a hospital in Denver and lived in Boulder, which I highly recommend. I was able to go hiking in the Flat Irons within minutes of leaving my apartment. In September I moved back to Minneapolis for a postdoctoral fellowship in psychology at the U of M. I work with eating disordered patients and do some research. Leaving Colorado was hard, but it's great being back in the Twin Cities. One of the benefits is living only a few miles from my sister and my adorable 7-year-old niece and 2-year-old nephew. I am also only 4 hours from Sioux Falls where my mom, my brother and his wife and their 2-year-old daughter all live. In September of 2006, Sarah started a new job at Children's Hospital in St. Paul. |
