Hellmers Jeff lives in Valparaiso, Indiana, where he teaches fifth grade. In 2002 and 2003 he worked in Chicago teaching 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. He now teaches at Thomas Jefferson Elementary in Valparaiso. Jeff's parents are retired and also live in Valparaiso, as does his sister, who is a German professor at Valparaiso University.  The best meal I had in Thailand,
in the city of Sukhothai. The
drink is a coconut-flavored milk shake, the things on the green platter
are deep-fried banana leaves, and the main course is some kind of a
curry with potatoes.
